MATIQ / LEGAL
Terms of Service.
These terms govern your access to and use of MatiQ and its combat-sports review features.
1. About MatiQ
MatiQ provides tools for organizing combat-sports footage and exploring AI-assisted match analysis, profiles, and community features. Features may change over time.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You may use MatiQ only if you are legally eligible under applicable law and meet the minimum age requirement shown in the app. Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
3. Your content
You retain any rights you have in content you submit. You give MatiQ permission to host, process, and display that content as reasonably needed to operate the features you use, provide requested analysis, secure the service, and follow your settings. You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload and process videos, images, and other material.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use MatiQ to break the law, harass or threaten people, impersonate others, distribute unauthorized content, interfere with the service, probe systems without permission, bypass access controls, or misuse other users' information. We may restrict access to protect users or the service.
5. AI-generated analysis
AI-generated observations can be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. They are for educational and review purposes, not professional coaching, medical advice, or a guarantee of performance. Verify important conclusions with a qualified coach. You remain responsible for training and competition decisions.
6. Third-party services and API keys
MatiQ may rely on third-party authentication, hosting, storage, and AI providers. Your use of those services may also be governed by their terms and privacy policies. If you provide an API key for an AI provider, you are responsible for being authorized to use it and for any charges associated with its use under that provider's terms.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how information is handled. Features that analyze videos or other content may send relevant inputs to service providers to deliver the feature you requested.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep MatiQ available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or permanent availability of any feature. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address violations of these terms, security risks, abuse, legal requirements, or service discontinuation. You may stop using MatiQ and use the account-deletion options available in the app.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, MatiQ is provided on an “as available” basis without guarantees that the service or AI outputs will meet your needs. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. This section does not limit liability where prohibited by law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as MatiQ evolves. The date above identifies the latest version. Where required by law, we will provide notice or obtain renewed acceptance for material changes.
