Privacy Policy.

This policy explains how MatiQ handles information when you use its mobile app and related services.

1. Who operates MatiQ?

MatiQ (“MatiQ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a combat-sports match-review application. For privacy questions, contact jawharsaisno@gmail.com.

2. Information we may process

• Account and profile information: account identifiers handled by the authentication provider, email address, username, display name, profile image, biography, chosen discipline, and profile visibility settings.
• Match content: videos you upload, video frames or other derived content used for analysis, match metadata, analysis results, and notes.
• Community content: posts, friend connections, rankings, and other information you choose to add to social features.
• AI-provider settings: your selected provider and any API key you choose to enter when using a bring-your-own-key feature. Treat API keys as sensitive credentials.
• Support and technical information: messages you send us and technical or security information processed by services used to operate and protect the app.

3. How information is used

Information may be used to authenticate users, provide requested match analysis, store and display content, operate profiles and community features, remember settings, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Match videos and AI analysis

When you submit a video, the app processes it to provide the analysis you request. Depending on the selected AI provider and the app's current configuration, video content, extracted frames, prompts, or related inputs may be sent to that provider. The provider's own terms and privacy practices may also apply. Do not upload footage unless you have the rights and permissions needed to do so.

The app has been designed to remove certain location and device metadata from videos before sharing them with its processing flow. Visual content itself may still identify people or reveal private information, so review footage before uploading. Derived frames may be removed after analysis according to the app's processing flow; exact retention can depend on the current implementation and service configuration.

5. Sharing and service providers

We do not describe user information as being sold. Information may be processed by providers that support authentication, database and file storage, hosting, security, or AI analysis. Information may also be visible to other users when you publish content or use community features, or disclosed when reasonably necessary to protect rights, enforce terms, or comply with law. The providers involved depend on the features and configuration you use.

6. Storage and retention

We retain information as needed to provide the service, maintain accounts and content, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal requirements. Retention may differ by data type and provider. Deletion may not immediately remove copies held in backups, logs, or by third-party providers under their own policies.

7. Your choices and account deletion

You can update available profile settings in the app. The app includes account-data export and account-deletion features. Account deletion is intended to remove associated account content from the app's systems, subject to technical limits, backups, and legal retention requirements. 8. Security

We use measures intended to protect information, but no system or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your sign-in credentials and any API keys you add, and avoid uploading content you do not want processed.

9. Age requirements

MatiQ is not intended for people who do not meet the minimum age requirement shown by the app or applicable law. Do not create an account if you are not eligible to use the service. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information may contact us.

10. International processing

Service providers may process information in countries other than your country of residence, where data-protection laws may differ.

11. Changes

We may update this policy as the app changes. We will revise the date above when a new version is published and provide any notice required by law.
